1st Grade Teacher Ms. Cheryl Gedney   Welcome! I have been teaching in Prince William County for many years, most of them at Springwoods Elementary. I’ve enjoyed fifth, third, and second graders prior to finding my current home in first grade. I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from Mary Washington College and a Master’s in Education from Marymount Univeristy. I attended Prince William County schools and am a graduate of Woodbridge High School. My older daughter is a "graduate" of Springwoods, and my younger daughter is a 4th grader here. We are happy to be a Patriot family!
